The project
Duotecno is a Belgian company specialized in home automation installations. They have their own mobile application that allows customers to control their smart home — from lighting to heating, from blinds to security.
Through a colleague who was already working there and needed help with the front-end, I got involved in this project.
My role
I started by fixing UI/UX bugs and keeping the codebase up to date. Over time, my role grew and I began developing new features as well.

Technical
The application is built with Angular and Ionic, providing a native-feel experience on both iOS and Android. TypeScript forms the foundation for type-safe development.
As a front-end developer, my focus was on improving the user experience and keeping the application stable for end users.
